This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are set on le-concepteur.com, why, and how you can change your mind at any time.
The site is operated by Steve Lauzon – Loz Hockey, self-employed, L’Ange-Gardien, Quebec, Canada. Le Concepteur™ is a trademark of that business. For any question: stevelauzon@lozhockey.com.
1. The principle
Nothing is set for analytics before you agree. On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent. Until you answer — or if you decline — no measurement tool is loaded. Declining takes nothing away from what you can see on the site.
2. Strictly necessary storage
Only one item is stored without your consent, because its whole purpose is to remember your answer:
loz-consentement— stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), not in a cookie. It records whether you accepted or declined, and when. It stays until you clear it or use “Manage cookies” at the bottom of any page.
3. Analytics cookies (after you agree)
If you accept, two tools are loaded.
3.1 Microsoft Clarity
Clarity shows us how the pages are used — what gets read, what gets skipped, where people drop off — so we can improve the site. The data is processed by Microsoft Corporation.
_clck— anonymous browser identifier, used to connect visits from the same person. About 1 year._clsk— groups the pages of a single visit. About 1 day.CLID— identifier set byclarity.ms. About 1 year.- Microsoft may set further cookies of its own (
MUID,ANONCHK,SM). Their list and lifetime are set by Microsoft: see the Clarity cookie list and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
3.2 Meta pixel (Facebook)
The pixel measures how well our ads perform on Facebook and Instagram: it tells us how many people land on the site after seeing an ad. The data is processed by Meta Platforms.
_fbp— identifies the browser in order to tie a visit back to an ad. About 3 months.- Meta may set further cookies from its own domains (
fron facebook.com, for example). See the Meta cookie policy.
4. What we do not set
This site sets no ad-network cookies, no social network cookies other than
the Meta pixel described above, and there is no account or shopping cart on
le-concepteur.com. The paid application is a separate
service, at a different address
(application.le-concepteur.com), with its own session cookies
required to sign in.
5. Managing or withdrawing your consent
- On the site: click “Manage cookies” at the bottom of any page. Your choice is erased and the banner comes back.
- In your browser: you can block or clear cookies and local storage from the privacy settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- With Microsoft: Clarity honours the Global Privacy Control signal and your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting.
Withdrawing your consent prevents the tools from loading on later visits. Measurements already recorded follow Microsoft’s and Meta’s own retention periods.
6. Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction or its deletion, and file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
If a tool is added or removed, this page is updated and the revision date changes. A change that affects your data will be put to you again through the banner.
